The 40 page booklet packed with this CD contains lyrics to the songs as well as extensive historical notes for each song and a bibliography. The cover of the CD booklet is a detail showing Missouri general Sterling Price and his men from a triptych of the Battle of Pea Ridge, Arkansas, by Hunt P. Wilson, a participant in the battle. It is used courtesy of the Museum of the Confederacy, Richmond, Virginia.
