| . This compact disc, released in 1991, contains nineteen original songs that appeared on my first two cassette tapes, River of the Big Canoes (1982) and Treasure in the River (1986). The recording is much enhanced musically by the superb accompaniment provided by my friends Cathy Barton and Dave Para, Paul and Win Grace, Forrest Rose and others with a variety of folk instrumentation including guitar, banjo, mandolin, accordion, fiddle, hammered dulcimer, mouth bow, dobro and acoustic bass.
